The Found tag is designed to last for a minimum 12 months with one battery. How often you chime the tag will have the greatest impact on overall battery life. The app will notify you when it is time to replace the battery in each tag.
Yes. You can share each of your tags with an unlimited number of people – they will simply need to download the free Found app. Simply share a tag with them by adding their e-mail. They will receive an invitation and a link to download the app if they do not already have it on their phone. Only one person can be the primary owner of each tag. That owner can specify the period the tag can be shared with another person and change it at anytime. If another person wants to also have their own tags only visible to them, they will need to sign up to the Found network with their own account.
No. Found wants to help you know where your item is now, not where it has been. The Found app displays all Locators that heard the tag within the last 10 seconds. If are not actively receiving new location information from our network, we will display the last known location of your tag.
Yes. To transfer one of your registered tags or Found Locators to someone else, you simply need to delete the tag or Locator from your account. Once deleted, the tag or Locator can be given to anyone and it can be registered to any other Found account using the set-up process in the app. If you do not delete the tag or Locator from your hardware, it will never be able to be reset and re-registered by another person.
